1 CORINTHIANS 15:35-58
1. Was there something in this sermon or text that struck you as meaningful? As strange? As hard to understand?
2. What do you imagine your body to be like in heaven? How old will you be? What will you look like? What won’t you look like?
3. What would we miss if our bodies were not going to be in heaven? How would eternity be less than ideal?
4. Does the presence of our physical body make heaven seem more or less spiritual? Why or why not?
5. From what we know about Jesus’ new body, what new aspect of our new body are you looking forward to most?
6. Does the promise of your new, strong, healthy, transformed body give you hope now in times of weakness and despair? How?
7. Does death still have a sting for those of us who are left behind? Does death have a sting for believers who die?
8. How do we remember this promise of transformation, and use this promise to stand firm?
